Avoid the Tables while You Wait
Casinos have finally tuned into the fact that there are millions of people out there who want to play poker online. They have figured out there will always be a huge crowd at the live poker games. These crowds need to be entertained somehow while they wait; so many casinos have put in casino pit games for the poker players to indulge in while they wait. These games can take a variety of different forms. Most casinos have at least a slot machine or two sitting on the floor, but you can always find at least one casino in an area that sports a live blackjack table in the poker area.
While it may be tempting to play at the tables while you wait, this is a bad idea. The casino pit games in the poker area often have higher house advantages than you would find elsewhere on the floor. The idea is that the other players are so anxious waiting for a poker set to open up that they don’t even take the time to look at the fine print. Sadly, this is often true. Don’t be one of the statistics that through their money away before they even get a chance to play the game that they actually went to the casino for. You don’t get the same experience playing online poker.
